From
June 17th to June 20th 2007 His
Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet will visit New Zealand
to give public talks and public
teachings at the invitation of the Tibetan Buddhist community
of New Zealand.
This visit will be a rare opportunity for all New Zealanders to
see and hear His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader
of the Tibetan people and the living manifestation of the
Bodhisattva (Buddha) of Compassion.
Loved
and respected worldwide as a man of peace, a scholar and spokesman
for better understanding among people and religions, His Holiness
will visit Auckland and Wellington to give public
talks and a public teaching
imparting the message of love, compassion, kindness and universal
responsibility.
This
visit is arranged by the Dalai Lama
Visit Trust New Zealand, a non profit charitable trust
established for the express purpose of facilitating His Holiness's
visit.
